Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)

The DSWD partnered with SVI to digitize paper-based records into digital files. SVI deployed personnel to implement the digitization services at each DSWD location, providing them with an on-premise document management system for easy search and retrieval of documents.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) needed to digitize its vital paper-based records into digital files. Hardcopy documents from various departments of each DSWD regional office such as adoption records, accounting records, Human resources, 4Ps, and admin records, were collated and the processed for digitization.

 

SVI’s digitization team worked with DSWD to define the index fields to be captured for the various documents. Document categories and index fields per document type were defined by SVI and approved by DSWD. Operations required onsite deployment of SVI teams to do the physical digitization services at each DSWD location. Nationwide operations were carried out for DSWD regional offices.
