A leading provider of information solutions to the US legal market sought SVI’s assistance in software and quality assurance testing of its online products developed using a variety of web-based platforms.
SVI formed a team of 40 people to do regression testing, manual systems testing, and automated testing using Segue Silk. Defects found during the testing were recorded in SVI’s Defect Management System and sent to the client on a daily basis.
Outsourcing testing services allowed the client to dramatically cut IT costs and concentrate its employees’ efforts on the development and enhancement of its core business web offerings, without sacrificing the quality of its released products.
The client also benefited from faster turnaround time of its build-test cycles resulting from a continuous work cycle made possible by the 12-hour time-difference between the US and the Philippines. Builds submitted during the client’s daytime are immediately tested at night with test results ready for their analysis the next working day.
