A.M. Best reaffirms Delos Insurance Group's Rating

NEW YORK, Oct 06, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Delos Insurance Company (Delos), a leader in program business, today announced that A.M. Best Company, the credit rating organization, has reaffirmed Lightyear Delos Group and its member companies' Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) with a stable outlook, expressing the company's confidence in Delos' solid risk-adjusted capital position, adequate operating performance and excellent liquidity. Lightyear Delos Group consists of Delos and its wholly-owned excess and surplus lines subsidiary, Naxos Insurance Company (Naxos).

The rating recognizes the successful track-record of the Delos' executive team in managing profitable insurance company operations. The rating outlook is based on the expectation of near-term operating profitability driven by adherence to strict underwriting fundamentals, and prudent capital management in accordance with levels previously discussed with A.M. Best.
