Bill Davis
President and CEO
Executive Department
Bill is President, CEO and Director of both Delos and Naxos Insurance Companies. Bill has spent nearly 30 years in various accounting, finance, audit, IT and management positions in the insurance industry, including 19 years at the Constitution Reinsurance Corporation. He joins the predecessor company of Delos as Chief Operating Officer in 2001 and was named president and CEO in 2002. Bill obtained his BA in Accounting and MBA from Rutgers University.
Mary Sbaschnig
Chief Operating Officer
Among her broad portfolio of responsibilities, Mary is in charge of information technology, financial business operations, treasury, human resource and compliance. She provides leadership and management oversight to the activities and operations of Delos Insurance, as well as aligns the firm's technology vision with strategic business plan. Prior to joining Delos in 2006, Mary worked at the Clarendon Insurance for more than 15 years, where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Mary received her MBA from Pace University.
Grace Meek
Chief Business Officer
Grace joined Delos Insurance in September 2006 as the Chief Business Officer. She works directly with the CEO to execute the company's strategic business plan, focused exclusively on program business. Grace's division is responsible for production of new business, management of the company's existing portfolio including underwriting, filing and compliance, and reinsurance purchases. Prior to joining Delos, Grace was the Chief Partnership Officer at Praetorian Financial Group overseeing a $1.4 billion portfolio of program business and reinsurance purchases. This followed her working in various senior level positions at Clarendon Insurance. Grace earned a BS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University and holds the CPCU designation.
Bryan McCully
General Counsel and
Senior Vice President, Claims
Bryan joined Delos Insurance as the General Counsel and Senior Vice President in 2007, He began his career as a private practice attorney in Florida handling insurance defense, bond litigation, subrogation and other matters. In 1997, he joined Clarendon Insurance Group as Vice President of all commercial lines claims and President of its wholly-owned third party claims administrator, North American Risk Services, Inc. He spent close to 10 years at Clarendon, which later divided into Praetorian Financial Group where Bryan held the role of General Counsel of Insurance Operation and Senior Vice President of Claims. Bryan received his BS in Management from Tulane University and JD from the University of Florida.
Alex Hammett
Senior Vice President & Chief Actuary
Alex Hammett joined Delos in 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary. Alex is responsible for all actuarial functions within the Delos Insurance Group.
Alex has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held a variety of pricing and reserving roles for all major lines during that time. He most recently served as Senior Vice President with Arch Insurance for six years, where he led the effort to build the Corporate Actuarial Department and the Enterprise Risk Management modeling framework.
Prior to Arch, Alex worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and CIGNA in various pricing and reserving actuarial roles.
Alex is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from Cornell University and a Masters in Business Administration from New York University.
